| Job Description | SCOPE OF WORK - Provision of expert advice and guidance to contracting staff and clients - Review and analysis of business processes and procedures - Develop and prepare: - Invitation to tenders - Requests for Proposals for a variety of complex professional services including respective addenda; - RFSOs for obtaining a wide variety of tradesperson including respective apprenticeship in support of the Real Estate and Property directorate - Advance Contract Award notices for regular and complex requirements - As and when required services contracts; - Requests for quotations including those to be provided on an as requested basis - Sample letters, forms, e-mail and other documents for reference and use - Statement of Work documents - Procedures as required - A detailed process checklist for construction projects ensuring that all steps of the process are followed and adhered to for each construction file - Provide ongoing advice and guidance on the handling and safekeeping of Bid Bond and Performance Bond and Labour and Materiel Payment Bond - Work closely with other procurement authorities on various matters relating to Invitation to Tenders, RFPs and RFQs) by submitting necessary recommendations; - Make recommendations to program managers on procurement strategies - Coaching contracting and procurement staff - Perform quality assurance of contracting files - Recommendations on efficiencies and implement improvements | ||
